Rowbook
Pilot program · Limited spots

Your farm records, in the field with you.

Rowbook keeps spray records, re-entry and pre-harvest intervals, CanadaGAP forms, harvest traceability and your books in one app. It works on your phone, even with no signal at the back of the orchard.

Pilot farms get Rowbook free for their first two years. Built in British Columbia.

What Rowbook does

The records you keep anyway, without the binders.

Every screen below is the real app, showing a sample orchard in the Similkameen.

Rowbook spray records: each record lists the product, PCP registration, blocks sprayed and whether a re-entry interval is active.
Sprays

Every spray recorded. Every interval tracked.

When you add a product, search Health Canada’s pesticide registry by name or PCP number, so the registration on every record is right. Logging a spray takes under a minute: product, rate, blocks, applicator, equipment and weather.

Rowbook works out the re-entry and pre-harvest intervals and marks each block No entry or No picking until they end, so your crew knows before they walk in.

Food safety

CanadaGAP records, ready when the auditor is.

Tell Rowbook which CanadaGAP option you’re under and it shows only the forms that apply to your farm: cleaning logs, hygiene training, water tests, visitor sign-ins and more.

  • Reminds you what’s due this week
  • Crew log their checks from their own phones
  • Builds an audit binder you can print
Rowbook label printing: choose row tags, block signs or bin tags and print them on Avery label sheets.
Labels and traceability

Scan a row. Trace a bin.

Print QR row tags, block signs and bin tags on standard Avery sheets. Anyone with a phone can scan a row tag to see whether that block is safe to enter.

At harvest, crew scan each bin as it fills. Every bin can be traced from block and row to the buyer it went to.

Rowbook work orders listing tasks with who is assigned, due dates and the block each task is for.
Crew and tasks

Your crew sees the work, not your books.

Add your crew and give them tasks, block status and the checks they need to log. Sales, wages and the books stay with the owner.

  • Completing a spray task opens its spray record
  • Inputs used come out of stock and are costed to the block
  • Hours logged per person and per block
Books

Know what each block earned.

Invoices, expenses and a ledger with GST, kept next to the field records that drive them. Rowbook shows revenue, direct costs and margin per block, so you can see which ones pay their way.

Rowbook on a computer: today’s block status, cash in bank, money owed, net income, GST position, tasks needing attention and margin by block.

No signal? Keep going.

Everything you record is saved on the phone and sent when you’re back in range.

Any phone or computer

Our story
Built by a farmer, for farmers.
Made in British Columbia

Rowbook started on a family farm in British Columbia. Our spray records lived in one binder, our CanadaGAP forms in another, harvest counts on the back of bin tickets, and the books in a spreadsheet nobody wanted to open. Every audit meant a weekend of catching up.

So we built the app we wanted: one place for the records, quick enough to fill in from the tractor seat, and still working where the signal doesn’t reach. It runs on our own farm every day.

Now we want to know if it works on yours. The pilot is small on purpose. We read every piece of feedback and decide what to build next based on what pilot farms tell us.

Pilot program · Limited spots

Two years free for pilot farms.

We’re inviting a small group of farms to use Rowbook for a real season and help us shape it. Here’s how it works.

Tell us about your farm below. It takes two minutes.

  2. Get your invite

We email you a sign-up link with your pilot code already filled in.

  3. Set up your farm

Add your blocks and crops in about five minutes, or explore the sample orchard first.

  4. Use it this season

You get
  • Full access, free for your first two years. Every feature, for you and your crew.
  • Help setting up your blocks, products and food safety forms.
  • A say in what’s built next. Pilot feedback sets the plan.
We ask
  • Use it for your real records this season.
  • Tell us what works and what doesn’t, in the app or by email.
  • A short check-in now and then, by phone or email, whichever suits you.
Privacy

Your records stay yours.

Stored in Canada

Your records are kept on Rowbook’s own server in Canada, with nightly backups.

Only your farm sees them

People you add to your farm can see its records. Crew don’t see sales, wages or the books.

Support only when you say

We can only look at your records if you turn on support access. It switches off after 7 days, and every look is logged for you.

Take your data with you

Export your records whenever you like. They belong to you, not to us.

No ads, no selling

We don’t show ads and we never sell your information.

Questions

Good to know

What does it cost after the pilot?

Pilot farms use Rowbook free for their first two years. We’ll share pricing well before that ends, and you can export all your records at any time, whatever you decide.

Does it work without cell signal?

Yes. Rowbook saves everything on your phone first and sends it to the server when you’re back in range. Your crew can keep recording in the field.

What do I need to run it?

A phone, tablet or computer with a web browser. On iPhone, open it in Safari and add it to your home screen; on Android, install it from Chrome. There’s nothing to download from an app store.

Do I need to be CanadaGAP certified?

No. Rowbook is useful for spray records, harvest, crew and books on any farm. If you are certified or working towards it, Rowbook keeps the records the program asks for. Your auditor still does the audit.

What kinds of farms is it for?

Rowbook was built on a BC farm growing tree fruit, berries and vegetables. If you grow in blocks or fields and keep spray and harvest records, it should fit. Tell us about your farm and we’ll be straight with you about whether it does.

Can my crew use it?

Yes. Each person gets their own sign-in. Crew see tasks, block status and the checks they log, but not sales, wages or the books.

Who can see my farm’s records?

Only the people you add to your farm. Rowbook can’t see the contents of your records unless you turn on support access, which switches itself off after 7 days.
